Spooky Witch Speeder

After the death of the Emperor and the fall of the Empire, things got a little weird. The remaining storm troopers went a bit mad, some delving into the black arts in order to keep their machines going. Here is one such vehicle, based on an ancient hover-broomstick. Navigation is via conjuring.

TK-1420: I like the "navigation is via conjuring" bit.

Skull Interceptor

Gallery: MOCPages

TK-1420: Very nice- exactly the sort of entry I'd hoped to see in this contest!

Stephen J. Sansweet: Simple, elegant, spooky and VERY Star Wars!

3rd Place, Class one rankings!

DD-666's AT-HB

General DD-666 is Darth Vaders main man, No.1 troop, right ill stop before this gets boring The AT-HB (All Terrian Hell Bringer) sqishes, burns and blows up enemys without fail!

Chris: A little too close to a standard walker for me.

The real separatist spider

Separatists don't do that whole robot thing any more. Now they use real spiders. Poisonous spiders, to be specific.

Gallery: Flickr

TK-1420: Although spiders can be kinda spooky, this did not scream either "halloween" or "Star Wars" to me.

Chris: Looked more "Matrix" than "Star Wars" to me. But still spooky.

EYE Fighter

The Eerie/Yucky Engine (or EYE) Fighter is the last word in Spooky Imperial Vehicles. Based on an eyeball ripped from the socket of some nameless Rebel Scum, the EYE Fighter is a mass of veins, goo, and evil.

See the gallery for better views of the functional cockpit, trailing optic nerve engine, and removable display stand.

Gallery: Brickshelf

TK-1420: Excellent!! I really enjoyed the 'vein' work, particularly the 'optic nerve' cluster at the back.

Stephen J. Sansweet: Very clever and unusual. Makes you think!

2nd Place, Class one rankings!

(Prize Winner, as Polywen kept the Class-Two prize!)

Eekwok Glider

"Our spooky little ewok is flying high in the sky with his frightening glider. Those stormmies should look out for falling Jack-O-Lanterns!"

TK-1420: Ewoks are about as scary as it gets for a stormtrooper.

Chris: Somewhat minimalistic, but the best action shot of the contest.

Mary: In the spirit of the season, as nothing is scarier than ewoks. Except maybe Jar Jar.

Dr. Fettinstein’s Spook 1

In a parallel universe to that of the traditional Star Wars films lies a more frightening universe with Body Hunters like Dr. Fettinstein who cruises around in his ship, Spook 1.

Galleries: Brickself, Flickr

TK-1420: very nice "steampunk" aesthetic

Chris:I like the concept of "Body Hunters" - a very clever redesign.

CT-PT: Cthulhu Terrain - Pumpkin Transport.

The CT-PT scouts pumpkin patches for pesky rebels and is sure to scare the bejeezes out of them.

Gallery: Flickr

TK-1420: Cthulhu is definitely spooky, especially as the head of an AT-ST. Great work on this model!!

Stephen J. Sansweet: Cool, classy, and spooky all combined. Nice cross-homage!

Chris: Nice use of colors and a very nice, non-traditional skull design

Mary: this makes me think of an Aliens crossover, which adds to the spookiness

FIRST PLACE, CLASS ONE RANKINGS

Imperial Candy Corn Destroyer

Darth Vader likes to celebrate Halloween as that is the only time he can easily dress up. He demanded his Star Destroyer repainted to fit the spirits of the holiday.

Note: This is a mini.

Gallery: Flickr

TK-1420: A front-runnner! Great detail for a mini! Kudos!!

Chris: Excellent work as a mini- I'd love to see one of these at UCS scale...

WINNER: FAR SIDE AWARD

Pumkin Tie Figher

This "Pumkin Tie Figher" was designed specially for pilots who want to cellebrate halloween. The pumkin entrance is on top, has 2 machine guns in front of the ship and 2 more in back side.

Gallery: Brickshelf

TK-1420: very Halloween-y! I like the jack-o-lantern

Mary: TIE fighters should have used paint schemes like this!
