Eight of Wands

Divination:

This card denotes a busy, competitive time. Great energy needed. Increasing vitality. Hyper-activity. Many enterprises ongoing at the same time.

Author Commentary:

I hated the first version of this card. Even more than I hate the Aces, the early Eight of wands just bothered me.

I wanted to do a Quiddich image here, but, well, eight figures on broomsticks in a 300x500 area do not a readable image make. So I cheated, added Madam Hooch holding two of the wands/broomsticks at the bottom of the frame, and had enough room for six players.

For once the focal length issues I'd been fighting worked in my favor, as I didn't need to blur the background figures; they were already fuzzy.
