Author Commentary:

The background for this card (a stone bridge) was going to be the basis of the Seven of Wands, with a knight-figure fending off some attackers. That was before I stumbled onto the story-within-the-cards idea that ended up being used. But I liked the original background enough to re-use it here.

(As you can tell, I don't have a lot to say about this card.)
