Heinlein's Gay Deciever - In LEGO® Bricks

Group Photo

That's it for this documentary on the LEGO Gay Deceiver. Hopefully you found it at least mildly interesting. If you find your vision of Gay doesn't match mine, don't worry - remember the level of detail Heinlein intended us to work with:

I had seen at once that this was indeed a sort of spaceplane, with lifting body and retractable wings... - TCWWTW, page 247

But, for me, I'm satisfied that I've had a good look at her now.

If you'd like to learn more about modeling in LEGO, I suggest you check out some of the links I'm about to list. They've provided me with a lot of inspiration and design ideas in the past couple of years.

The sad part of this story is that my reference copy of Number of the Beast fell apart - loose pages falling to the floor - as I went back through yet again for the citations you've seen. Hopefully I'll be able to track down another first printing of the 1982 edition - but I'm keeping my destroyed copy anyway. We've been through a lot toghter, that book and I.

If you'd like to email me any comments, plese do. There's an email link on my bio page.
