Day One saw both Player B and Player O sending their first characters racing towards the Grand Emporium. What could Day 2 possibly do to top that sort of excitement?
Day Two’s CITY advent set is a small child with two swords.
“Not JUST two swords – but two HATS as well!” – Player O is delighted by these unexpected extra parts. Perhaps she thought the CITY was going to be weapons-free.
“I shall name him….Tommy. My second HERO!”
Frosty moves one length closer to the Grand Emporium.
Tommy also starts the run towards the goodies.
Player B, however, finds a puzzling mini-set behind her second door.
“It’s…um…it’s a….I dunno. A fire? And an anvil. And a sword. And the sword won’t stay balanced on the anvil like the picture shows. Stupid LEGO.”
The Blacksmith continues his dash for the Emporium as the anvil sits back at base, sad and alone.
Will the anvil end up being a key to Player B’s victory? Or is Player O’s Two-HERO rush going to be unstoppable?
Tune in tomorrow for Day 3….
Aw, Player B could’ve got a little creative there, a rocket propelled anvil with side mounted swords perhaps?
I think the rules state that a minifig has to be in the staging area to build anything other than the day’s set.
Well, maybe the next ‘fig can make use of the ‘smith’s micro-forge
