I was lucky enough to score a supply of these figures before their “official” release date of June 17th. Good thing, too, as they gave me a fun new direction to take the strip.
The challenge was leaving enough packs sealed to do the comic. The temptation to open them all RIGHT NOW is pretty strong.
KNEW IT :O
(based on my guess an hour or 3 ago)
Open them! Open them! The poor bastids is suffacating, they is!
They were available on Friday past here 🙂 Also free with next week’s Beano
We’ve already got them in the uk… well in my area at least…

Hm, green army men versus indians, ninjas, spacemen, and skateboarders. Plus anything else the Brick House cast can cook up themselves. (haha…”cook” up)
YES. This should be quite interesting… let’s see if the Brick House can whip up some weapons, eh?
Did you get them at TrU?
Wow, and here I thought you were just going to give DEM the day off for Memorial Day.
this could be a good brick war.you have quite a few of each fig(as shown on flickr) and whatever army the enemeys are it would be an epic battle.i brought 2figs today the “forestman archer”(anyone whos heard of robin hood knows the fig is clearly based on him) and the wrestler.how il manage to put them in my comic i have no idea but il try.
@Ross: Yep – they were a lucky TRU score a couple of weeks ago.
send in the clowns, and zombies, and crash test dummies, and cheer leaders and….
@Pollinette
It isn’t the Toy Story army men anymore, it’s hordes of Dwarves and Rock Monsters…
And possibly some HFS…
Good idea, Chris! I honestly thought Tony would send in the Army Men Battle Pack, and that the plot would be “They can’t move their legs!?”
Ennnnnvyyyyy!
WHERE DO YOU BUY THESE PACKAGES OF FIGURES SOMEONE I WANT SOME
…ninja?
