It kinda makes sense, since they are made of rocks.
It would probably make more sense to Dig if she understands that her Dwarven friends would have some sort of dress code that denotes their ranking and that Harry, if he’s going to visit them, needs to abide by their dress code.
I don’t see them as nudists, anymore than I see that dog over the road as a nudist…

while it is true that the rock monsters don’t wear clothes, i a not sure if they have anything that modesty would require be covered up…

Where I live I don’t see too many rocks wearing pants. But that depends on whether you think the crystals inside are “skin”. 😛
