I wonder if these rock monsters reproduce asexually? That is, there is only one “parent’ and there is no “dad” or reproductive cycle involving a partner?
If there was a dad, I would imagine he’d be ten times worse!

or mabe its a deeply disturbing thing and each mom produces 1 or 2 big monsters and loads of small ones and 1 of the small ones and the mom make more.

Crystal Monsters (I refuse to call them Rock/Lava Monsters) probably reproduce asexualy, since they’re all just a bunch of underground element thugs. But not in the same violent exploding way as Rock monsters do lol.
