Can Loki talk his way out of a savage beating? Stranger things have happened.
Also, as much as I love the Hulk figure, the cost-cutting move of having the inside of his arms hollow really makes me sad.

Cost-cutting? I just assumed it was to make it easier to mold.
Right…and that saves LEGO money, as opposed to a two-part mold (with both sides to the arm) that would be more expensive to produce.
I just try not to think about it, and eventually you get used to it.
Here’s the thing: What if enough consumers who purchased a LEGO set were to complain to TLG about the arm molding that they figured they might have to do something about it? I say if you’ve purchased a Hulk minfigure and are not completely satisfied with the arm molds, phone, write, or submit through their online form a complaint about the Hulk minfigure’s inadequate arms and let them know how you feel about it!
Well, that’s a rather optimistic take on it… I seriously doubt they’ll do anything about it, though. Me, I’d just wedge a few bricks in there. As I recall, the wampa’s arm-holes can be filled fairly well with a cheese slope and a 1×1 brick. Friction holds it in. Hulk’s arms look more challenging, but it’s a thought.
it’s the same with the wampa from the wampa cave set
You could always find a green troll and use his arms claiming sunburn or something. That would give you the arms.
Why would it have been so expensive for TLG to have molded an insert piece that exactly fitted onto the inside of the arm? Decisions of theirs continue to make absolutely no sense, heck I think there might even be a film about it someday! 😀
I’m surprised at how easily Nubbin and Olivia take these new turns of events. Whiskey’s sudden extradimensional appearance would’ve been enough to get, say, Luka onto a drinking spree…
TLG’s recent cost cutting measures are exactly why I now only buy vintage items from BrickLink…
