#1327 – Yet another shoe drops

Whiskey may be willfully ignorant a lot of the time, but occasionally he clues in without Scotch having to explain things to him.
For those of you wondering, we’re just about done with the Friends Chapter. Although if things go as planned this won’t the the last you see of them.
I wonder if a small percentage of the population wouldn’t have interests that differed from the majority?
Well, yeah. But if our world is any indication, then surely there must be a minority in Heartlake City – closeted or not – that hankers after Friends that’re shaped like Olivia’s dad. Of course, this same affection probably wouldn’t be extended to the (from their standpoint) freakish boxy ‘male’ cyborg that’s Whiskey. Or would it?
Y’know, on second thought, it’s probably a good thing the chapter’s winding down. The logic of this molded plastic brick universe is already complicated enough without sexual politics. Or indeed, contemplating exactly HOW minifigs of any stripe even ‘get busy’ at all! (Makin’ babies is easy, though. The parents just order ’em on BrickLink.)
I rofld so much. Babies on bricklink, lol. They need baby figs though, microfigs dont quite work….
If this is the last of the Friends chapter, does anyone want to take a guess at which line will be next? 😀
will Ross marry Rachel? 🙂
Friends!…The good kind 😀
If someone in-comic doesn’t take note of the episode number ten strips from now, I shall be incredibly disappointed.
This! 😀
“If things go as planned” so in other words, there’s absolutely NO chance of them ever coming back. 😛
What do you mean?! Things *never* go as planned in this comic! 😛
Woot! Party time! No more icky friends!
Idk…with there only being ONE man in the entire community, I bet they’re all related. XD
MAYBE they just kidnap males from other universes from time to time, just to take his… whatever minifigs need to reproduce, so they can… well, reproduce. (After all, ANYTHING could have happened while Whiskey was unconcious.) Then they decide whether to send the guys back home or kill them. Of course the same happens with male children. The only reason Olivia’s Dad was allowed to stay, was because he’s kind of a metro man. It gave the women of the Friends-iverse someone to delegate the more tedious jobs to.
Why does he look like the rest of the Friends-iverse inhabitants, you ask? That’s a very good question. And the answer is: he’s spent a lot of time in the Friends-iverse. So much time, actually, that his genes adapted to his surroundings and he’s slowly (d)evolved into what he’s now.
Reading back what I just wrote made me realize that above idea isn’t really much more comforting than the entire community being related.
But hey. It’s an option too.
