Old school flames have pins jutting out from the sides. They’re the right size to fit in a hole in old school dragon mouths, or, coincidentally, the space between the body of the flame and the second-lowest lick.

Hrm… Is *that* why the advent clone’s head was black? Seemed weird to me when I built mine.
Of course, that opens up an even weirder question on why Grinchly’s new form would be as charred as his corpse…
