I hope so…I mean, I can accept “Alternate Lifestyle” if it isn’t as apparent as yoda is making it…I mean, this is just not a regular cast member that I can get used to…
I’m sorry but were you suggesting you’re ok with people being gay as long as they don’t show it? Huh. Fine, with that logic, I’m ok with straight people as long as they don’t show it in public.
take THAT with your logic. Don’t say alternate lifestyle – you make it sound like a choice when almost every time it’s not. Why would people CHOOSE to be different in a way that alienates you? I’m alienated in so many ways but I’d say being gay is not one I chose.
@digihuman: I didn’t mean “Alternate Lifestyle” in a bad way. I just noticed that some people take the terms “gay” or “homosexual” as offensive. And my comment meant that I don’t care if you’re gay or straight as long as you don’t make it a big deal. I mean, I’m straight but don’t make it a big thing…I don’t walk up to a girl that got hurt and talk like that…
In case you haven’t noticed in previous comments i’ve made, I don’t really have a way with words. I always have to re-explain things that I say to make them clearer…for example: the comment I made about the comic being late [https://www.reasonablyclever.com/2012/02/16/1295-dooooont-give-him-the-stick/] I didn’t mean to make myself sound mad or anything…I just don’t get my point out too well…

I like that use of the alternating green and orange flame pieces, it works really nicely.
The charred pile turning into an advent portal would explain how the other dudes got there. And also nice flame circle work!

cmon can somebody put a new comic on cause im fed up of checking reasonably clever every day for a new comic that will never come!!!
It drives me mad sometimes how people think this comic is for our benefit. That’s not the case, Doyle will put up a new comic when he’s good and ready to! Have patience, and go browse or play a game while you wait! 🙂
If you don’t like checking comics for updates every day, may I suggest you use a feed reader (online or offline apps are available) and use the RSS feed for Brick House (the link “RSS” is on the top menu bar) and any other comics/blogs you visit daily. Then, you only have to check your feeds once a day and any comic or blog that has updated that day will show the latest content. (If you don’t know what a feed reader or RSS is, then a quick Google search will help).

While I’m happy to have people eager to read my comic, these days my personal life has kept me busy enough that I’m lucky to get something up within 48 hours of a deadline. Comics will go up when I have them. Bitching about it doesn’t exactly motivate me. I have enough stress elsewhere.
