I had some alternate punchlines in mind for panel four, but my inner four year old won out.
And, yes, I was too lazy to go back and find the first time Whiskey broke the fourth wall. My guess is within four or five strips of his introduction, though.
Today’s comparison is no comparison at all. Another chunk of police station wall vs a beautifully rendered micro-Slave One? Do we even need to put this up for a vote?
Clearly the wall is superior.
I like the wall better if i can consider it as a whole combined with the other part(if that makes sense). If not, then star wars
And todays comic is pretty funny. Hopefully a shovel is coming up to clean up the brown studs left behid
He first broke the fourth wall way back in episode 17! That was the fifth comic he was in.
NOOO! LEGO did it again, now I’m forced to say Star Wars is catching up…but City’s winning 3-2.
Anyway, did anyone else expect the last panel after yesterday’s “clean” remark?
A better question would be “Did anyone not expect the last panel after yesterday’s “clean” remark? 😀
Sigh…. So much for the “Three Days of Such-and-such” tradition. Is the ENTIRE CALENDAR based on cops and robbers? (I’m actually glad there isn’t a Advent Wars this year. They wouldn’t have been able to do much with what they’re getting right now…)
But yeah, the Slave I is awesome. And didn’t the “bandit” have like three rolls of toilet paper? Where did they all go?
City:2
Star Wars:3
you don’t wanna know, my goodfellow. you don’t wanna know…
if you want to know, you can check the 2011 advent calender on the lego shop. I’m not going to say which way it is to avoid spoiling it.
I like how the EW! balloon actually has three points 🙂
And somehow I find both calendars pretty underwhelming. However, the SW one is winning points with me with today’s model. Next door a Boba/Jango Fett?
Oh and for the information of those who give a rat’s ass: Whiskey’s been breaking fourth walls since episode 17.
I like the star wars ship, but I’m hoping there’s more than just a police station for City this year. Then again I’m not really a fan of CITY much anymore regardless. I’d rather build spaceships, instead.
Speaking of ships, has anyone ever recreated the 11-foot studio model of the USS Enterprise out of LEGOs? 😛
When I opened my calendar yesterday and got the 1st wall, I looked at the spare brown brick and said ‘If thats a toilet roll over there, then whats that brownOH GOD OH WHAT’
Hey, you coulda got shower santa…
I think Officer Kinkypants just broke his fourth wall by mentioning they’re in a comic strip.
