Aisle 4 usually gets all the cleanup jobs, good thinking to put it in a different aisle, the cleanup crew will actually have to figure out where that is now! 😀
Yeah, I haven’t felt I’ve really been doing my best writing here for a while.
A lot of it is just being burnt out on the story/characters/etc, which led to a lot of the “Reboot silliness” and other attempts to change the dynamic of the strip. The past year has been very tough in my real-life world, and it’s hard to be funny/interesting when you’re not feeling either of those personally. Honestly, I’ve wondered if it wouldn’t be best just to stop the strip or go on a six-month break or something.
That said, I’m going to keep trying. I’m writing an arc now that should put me back into fresher territory – and getting sets built for it will hopefully get me back into actually creating something in LEGO again.
We’ll see. I hope you (and my other six readers) decide to stick around and see how it goes.
Well, personally, I find myself enjoying what you’re doing with the characters currently, and the new color scheme although bright is not so bright it’s overwhelming everything, which are both good things.
So, if you keep up with the good things and keep the balance relatively close to the center I think there could be more interesting things yet to come! 😀
That being said, the first line in your comment I’m replying to doesn’t make a lot of sense! But it makes enough sense that I can figure things out! 😉
I read. And I’ve commented before. I suppose that means you have a minimum of 13 readers. But who really believes that? You have many more, I’m sure. And they’d be crushed if you went on a 6 month hiatus. They’d understand, of course, but they’d still be crushed.
I see no wrong in where the story has gone “It’s dynamic, like real life. Probably in sync with your life, actually. So, don’t stop, and don’t think that your recent creations are “bad,” cuz they aren’t.
Judging from my weblogs I’d guess I really have somewhere around 1,500 dedicated readers, and a few hundred more occasionals. That’s nothing to moan about, I know – but there’s that nagging feeling that if I were really applying myself to this strip I could have surpassed that number of readers by now.
I have similar feelings about my LEGO building – I’m pretty good, but if I could just focus on it for a while I could be reasonably good.
Anyway. I appreciate the kind words and thoughts. Don’t worry – I’m not giving up on this site or strip yet.
RUN WHISKEY!
Third Panel: Shouldn’t Whiskey be saying “It’s not like Macguffin can’t make more”?
Sorry if it’s picky, but it’s one of those things that nags at my mind! 😛
Good catch – yeah, error on my part and fixed now. Thanks.
I keep on waiting for the bucket to come alive. I guess that just isn’t going to happen.
wait for it. 🙂
Wow. That lego pee looks seriously gross. Excellent work.
where did you get the 6×6 transparent base from for the pee?
Yes Chris, were the heck did you get it?
Actually it’s a 6×6 trans-yellow plate. I’ve had it for years, I’m guessing it was originally from a Classic Space set.

Oh oh… Better keep that away from Whisky’s hair. It never ends well when that comes to life. 🙂
Oh crap in a hat! Man it’s been a long time since they said that. The last time that I recall it is when the comic fake ended.
PEE MONSTAH!!!
Chris I’ve been reading your archives and haft to say: Have you down graded your story plotting, o_0

I’m a reader… I just choose not to comment due to not having anything to say…
Me too. I’ve been a reader for about 5 years; I just don’t comment a lot…
come on, lets be honest…you have at least 12 readers 😛
