Yesterday we got a shower. LEGO wouldn’t be crazy enough to continue that as a theme would they?

Day Eighteen: Showering Santa
Really, LEGO? Really?
Today we have Santa, ready for a shower. Apparently caught moments before removing his black speedo underpants and hat(?!), but not before he picked up his scrub brushes.
I admit I’m guilty of asking LEGO to surprise me. But I had no idea they’d go to this length to make the CITY Advent different from previous years.
Interestingly, some of the parts in today’s set aren’t listed on the part inventory grid on the top of the box. There’s no beard…and certainly no “naked” torso.
Make of that what you will….

He’s climbing down your chimney, snatching your people up. Hide your kids, hide your wife and hide your husbands too….

… then technically they must be extra pieces! Boy, what a haul!
…All I’ll say is a possible renactment from the meeting where they got the idea from this:
Designer 1: “Hey guys, let’s do something funny with a Santa minifig this year. Any ideas?”
Designer 2: “Oh, oh! Here’s one: we include a model of him in the middle of a shower! With underpants, of course.”
Designer 1: “Heh heh heh! That sounds like a great idea! I bet the kids will really laugh their pants off with that one!”
Designer 3: “Don’t you think older folks will feel… I dunno, weirded out when they see this?”
Designer 2: “Don’t worry about that, that’s only going to be the crowd who overthinks about these sets.”
Thank god that Santas wearing underpants.
Also, whats with them using a small leg minifig for size comparison.

Also, I’ll bet that if it weren’t for LEGO banning the further production of ALL-YELLOW LEGS, we’d be seeing a completely naked Santa. of course, I’d just switch Santa’s head with the Kingdoms barmaid’s head…
