Dwarf with a M-4 – something definitely is fishy in S’Moredor – and I suspect the herrings are behind it.
I can’t think of a fictional tale where any dwarf has ever had a M-4 as a part of his weaponry.

Yeah, someone pointed that image out to me on the LJ feed. This is the danger of working with Lord of The Rings jokes four years after they were popular…turns out a lot of them have been done. (Although my take on the line is a bit different in context at least.)
My first draft of this strip had the episode title worked in as a second bubble in panel four (“And besides, ye know that paper beats rock.”) but I thought it was overkill. Maybe not… 🙁
