We did it! We’ve reached the end of the CITY advent! And who’s there waiting for us?
Day Twenty Four: Santa and Train Engine
Why, it’s Santa! And this time he has pants on!
Santa comes with the train engine to pull the red and yellow cars we picked up earlier this week. And, if you look on the display area of the box lid, there’s even a little train track for him to drive in circles on.
All well and good, I suppose. It does make sure the CITY Advent ends on a holiday high-note.
So…how do you think LEGO did this year? Was the CITY calendar worth the $35 admission price? Were you happy with the sets you got?
And, perhaps most importantly, do you plan to buy next years?
Well, even if you don’t buy your own, you know you can join me for the 2012 2011 Reasonably Clever CITY Advent Countdown!
See you then!
2012!? you’re skipping a year?
Yeah! What gives!
I agree with the above! There’s still 2011’s before that!
I guess Chris means the countdown *to* 2012. Some advent Calendars go right to new year, y’see. Not lego ones, though.
*Sigh – Okay, okay…I’ll review next year’s calendar, too.
Good job, Chris.
This year’s Santa doesn’t have gloves!
Hey, not bad. It had it’s low points (and creepy points), but overall, I think they did well this year.
I think there needs to be a shocking Santa exploit every year. Cat burglar? Currency trader? Fox News anchor? Weatherman for a local morning show? So many possibilities!
I’d imagine I’ll be there again. I wish I’d gotten ’09, though that was just sour grapes over missing the Pirates Calendar. I’m not that annoyed I missed Kingdoms this year – those three top figs you mentioned weren’t enough to make me regretful. (Now, if there are any I find on sale after the holidays, maybe…)
hahaha! i think were the shower goes this time!
“Why, it’s Santa! And this time he has pants on!”
Just following the court order.
Maybe this year he’ll have Mrs. Claus.
