That one episode just about summed up the spirit of this strip. The last one too.
Guys we've seen the plot device drive several times before, Tony Stark invented it.

Oh my It seems that after you intro'd the Red Herrings, everyone is trying to figure out the clues. IT'S A COMIC STRIP GUYS! And a funny one at that. I'm sure it will all be explained sooner or later. It's not really a suspense thriller.
@Zepher I just laughed so much at that, I guess I am overthinking it a bit.
BUT GREAT ESCAPER IT HAS PLOT IN THE NAME I DON'T KNOW WHAT "PLOT DEVICE" MEANS IT MUST BE BAD
