Episode 672

Thanks for all the comments on the last episode, gang. Yes, there's a reason for Fox's actions. No, I'm not going to confirm or deny anything at this point. What fun would that be?
Oh. Just so you know - when I was thinking about going on hiatus/stopping the strip, I was ready to have Whiskey die on the operating table. Today's strip nearly ended with a big "THE END."

wow, a "they all die" ending? thats actually quite cruel. then we would never know what happened to scotch/ his backsory.
@Ben: When I was feeling *really* grumpy I had a panel at the ready that simply read:
"And then, in an unrelated story, the hero failed to stop the badguy and the world blew up.
The end."
Resolving Scotch's backstory is back to being the driving force behind the strip. At least for a while....
You make me cry.
@Cat:
That wasn't my intent. :-\
I'm feeling decidedly less grumpy as of late, so I mentioned the "sudden stop" endings as more of a mental bookmark than anything else.
If anything, the strip should be a lot more upbeat as the plot suddenly goes from "stalled" to "moving forward" again.
YES!!! WOOOOT AWSOMENESS CHRISS!!! Were back on the Scotch backstory track!
Wow, with everyone getting shot and whatnot for a moment there I thought we were about to start seeing a LEGO version of "Hamlet."
@Servo:
I think "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" would be more this strip's speed. ;)
@ Chris: there actually still is someone at large who can still recount Scotch's backstory then?
Only one I can think of is the other cola frog. But that would bring us so dangerously close to the disclosure of atleast one storyline, that I'd expect a change of plot anytime soon.
Or is your grumpiness still not entirely over and are you gonna wrap things up after all?
Heh, id love to see shakespere in lego, Romeo and Juliet perhaps, played by Wash and Fox, highlighting their unrequited love (and societys taboo against necrophelia), or mabye Hamlet where Wiskey discovers that his father, Wash, had a brother who killed him then remarried Mother Tango?
@ Great Escaper -
I've done some Shakespeare in Lego stuff: http://www.flickr.com/photos/25310960@N03/page11/
